HENNA
Henna is the ground leaves of a plant originating in Egypt and Africa, and the Middle East. Henna was used to cool the body, but was also used medicinally and in celebrations. Henna decorates new brides to pamper and celebrate them and their coming union. …Henna is just cool!- it let’s you express yourself without the pain or permanence of other forms of body decoration. Many henna patterns have symbolism and meaning, while others are just for fun. The best areas to stain are the palms of the hands and the feet. (areas like the face do not stain well because the skin is thin)
The orange to brown stains last 1-4 weeks and then you can start all over again! Henna is safe and temporary. (Henna is not black! “BLACK HENNA” has PPD, Para-phenylendiamine , which is a black chemical dye that is used is used to make KEVLAR®, epoxycoatings, including fungicides, hair dyes and polyurethane. PPD is very toxic and can seriously injure people. It should not be used as henna on anyone)
Henna is a great way to celebrate a special occasion- a girl’s night together, a corporate event, or fundraiser. Pregnant bellies are beautiful (and safe) hennaed. Private Sessions
Treat yourself! Private henna sessions available. Many designs to choose from! I’ll help you find that perfect design. (If you have a non copyrighted design, I may be able to create for you) Contact me to make an appointment. (available 25 mile radius of the Louisville area. Further distances are negotiable) You won't be disappointed !
Rates: $20.00 minimum and up per person. .
Prenatal Belly Art
Mothers to be: Sit back, relax and be pampered. Treat yourself or a mom-to-be to prenatal henna belly art. She can have her hands and feet adorned as well. The designs will last 2-3 weeks. We only ask for good lighting and a comfortable place to sit for both mother-to-be and artist. Available by private seesion or for your next shower party.
Rates:
Private belly art session: $50.00 and up (depends on designs chosen)
Party: $65.00/hour, minimum of 2 hours.
Deposit Required to secure your date: $25.00 non-refundable It is recommended that you book in advance to avoid any disappointment.
Corporate Events or Special Events
Provide something unique at your next event gathering. Having a themed event? Henna is the perfect addition. All supplies included. Businesses: I’m available for your events, and grand openings. Fundraisers
Non-profit organizations may apply for the reduced hourly rate for their event. Please inquire.
You can also choose the option of charging each person for their design(s) in order to raise funds or offering it as a free activity to draw crowds.
Henna is 100% natural and safe. No chemicals are used and it only last 2-3 weeks. We have many designs to choose from, and bring all supplies necessary. We only ask for good lighting, and a table with 2 chairs.
Rates:
Henna body art: $65.00/hour/artist, 2 hour minimum.
Combination of henna and glitter: $90.00/hour/artist, 2 hour minimum
